Interview Process:

  • Candidates who qualify for both the Objective and Descriptive Tests of the SBI PO will proceed to the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round.

  • The GD & PI involve a panel discussion about the candidates’ past experiences and questions related to general knowledge and the banking sector.

  • The Bank determines the qualifying marks for this round, with Group Discussion carrying 20 marks and the Interview carrying 30 marks.

Final Selection:

  • Following the GD & PI, the State Bank of India will compile a merit list.

  • This list will incorporate scores from the SBI PO Main exam (both objective and descriptive), Group Exercise, and Interview.

  • Final cut-off marks will be declared based on candidate scores and available vacancies.

  • Candidates meeting the cut-off criteria will receive an Appointment Letter from the State Bank of India for the Probationary Officer position.
